For plug-ins, the year began positively in the UK as sales improved in an overall declining market (by 6.3%) where diesels continue to downfall (-25.6%).

All the growth comes from plug-in hybrids, but we hope that deliveries of new Nissan LEAF soon will change this situation.

Overall, alternatively fuelled vehicles (AFVs) were the fastest growing segment of the auto market in UK - 9,020 (up 23.9%).
