Almost 150,000 new all-electric cars were sold in 2017 in Europe, which is 43.9% more than the year prior when sales barely exceeded 100,000.

In less than 10 years, European sales of all-electric cars exceeded 500,000 (501,798) and hopefully we should reach 1 million before the end of 2019. An additional million should come from plug-in hybrids.
