The next-generation Nissan LEAF will be able to park itself, thanks to what Nissan calls ProPILOT Park.
This newly released video shows just how easy it is to park a next-gen LEAF. It requires little more than a push of a button.
ProPilot Park is part of Nissan's recently announced ProPilot Assist technology. Nissan states:
“ProPILOT Assist supports drivers by helping control acceleration, braking and steering during single-lane driving on the highway."
In the coming years, Nissan’s ProPILOT technology will offer increasing levels of autonomy, with the system eventually able to navigate city intersections. Set to help make driving more secure and more enjoyable, ProPILOT Assist is part of Nissan Intelligent Mobility, the company’s blueprint for transforming how cars are driven, powered and integrated into society.”
It's all part of Nissan's grander push towards self-driving vehicles.
The new 2018 Nissan LEAF is set to debut in Tokyo on September 6th (which is September 5th in the U.S.).
