Tesla Model 3

A lone Tesla Model 3 has been spotted in New Zealand. This marks the first ever Model 3 sighting outside of the U.S.

Jehan Kateli uploaded an image of a Tesla Model 3 spotted on a platform at Auckland Airport, the largest, busiest airport in New Zealand.

Kateli states:

"A Model 3 has been spotted at Auckland airport."

"This is possibly the first ever Model 3 sighting in a country other than the USA."

Why is a Model 3 (left-hand-drive) in New Zealand? Our guess is that it will be hitting the roads for winter/snow testing soon. In the southern hemisphere, New Zealand is the place to go for testing during the U.S. summer months.
