Porsche Mission E
Heavy investments made on electrification suggest that Porsche will be becoming a more frequent guest when it comes to plug-in news.
In 2016, the company spent €2.2 billion ($2.4 billion) on R&D in three areas:
- plug-in hybrid vehicles
- all-electric Mission E
- overall digital transformation
After the new Panamera 4 E-Hybrid arrives in a about a month, we will see refreshed Cayenne PHEV, then the performance Mission E in 2019 (which Porsche expects to build 20,000 of per year), and hopefully also a new 918 Spyder...at some point.
