The Dendrobium, or rather “Singapore’s first-ever hypercar”, was presented by Fully Charged, which earlier also featured another of Vanda Electrics' EVs - the slightly downscale Motochimp e-scooter.

Unfortunately as it turns out, it's not quite ready for a test drive, but Vanda still promises hypercar performance nonetheless:

  • 0-62 mph (100 km/h) in about 2.7 seconds
  • more than 200 mph (320 km/h) top speed
  • two electric motors per axle - the front motors are connected to a single-speed gearbox and differential, while the rear ones with a multi-speed gearbox and differential
  • 3,858 pounds (1,750 kg) of weight
The two-seater was developed with Williams Advanced Engineering, which guarantee great performances when the Dendrobium possibly hit the market in 2020.

"Vanda Electrics are a Singapore based electric mobility company. The Dendrobium hypercar is a 100% electric, 200 mph teardrop shaped 2 seater with a no doubt eye watering price tag.

It was developed by Vanda Electrics and Williams engineering, and although they won't release any technical details just yet, it's clearly not going to be a G-Wizz."
