Europe's Chevrolet Bolt EV - the renamed Opel Ampera-e is now in production.
The German brand shows us the assembly process in the new video, proving the tag line of:
"This isn't some science project that is year's away."
The Opel Ampera-e is built alongside the Bolt EV at General Motor's Orion facility in Michigan.
First deliveries are expected in Norway in June, followed by rollout in rest of Europe.
The Ampera-e has a 383 km/238 mile real-world range rating (according to the EPA) from a 60 kWh battery.
