Panasonic has announced that it's partnering up with JobConnect for a hiring event on Thursday, June 22 for employment opportunities at Tesla's Gigafactory in Reno, Nevada.

There are more than 30 open spots that need to be filled, the majority of which are for manufacturing engineers and assembly technicians.

Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America released this statement.

"Panasonic Energy of North America is gearing up for significant growth at the Gigafactory where we will produce lithium ion cells for electric vehicles and other innovative products.

PENA has partnered with Nevada JobConnect to fill full-time positions in advanced manufacturing and is seeking experienced manufacturing professionals for shift lead, maintenance Technician and operator positions. Those interested in charging up their careers in an advanced manufacturing facility that is one of a kind, please contact Nevada JobConnect."

Interested individuals need to submit resumes to Nevada JobConnect prior to June 22. JobConnect will pre-screen all applicants before notifying those who qualify. Qualified individuals will be sent invites to the hiring event.
No word on if sleeping bags will be provided by the company, or you will need to bring your own.
