New registrations decreased by about 5% year-over-year to 2,964.

  • 1,158 BEVs (down 23.7%)
  • 1,806 PHEVs (up 12.5%)
The market share however reached its seond highest level at nearly 1.7%. The average for the year was just below 1.35%.

Overall, 2016 ends in UK with 36,907 new registrations (up 28.6% year-over-year), still a solid response.

  • 10,264 BEVs (up 3.3%)
  • 26,643 PHEVs (up 41.9%)
It's now time to focus on 2017 and hopefully charge through a market share of 2% and beyond.
