Honda continues to tease its presence at the upcoming 2017 CES show this January in Las Vegas, with not only a new all-electric (and very much a concept) vehicle - NeuV, but something called its "Cooperative Mobility Ecosystem".

And yes, besides the NeuV, there is another quirky  (yet wildly impractical) concept in the teaser spot - the Uni Cub, a personal mobility device with a 6 km range (approximately 1.5 hours at the speed of 4 km/h) and a 6 km/hr top speed.

Here's hoping that Honda also decides to show off something a little more mainstream that plugs in next month in Vegas (or failing that, the next week after CES in Detroit for the NAIAS).

...such as its all-electric Clarity and ~40+ mile plug-in hybrid Clarity that will go on sale in the US in 2017; following up on the recently arrival of the Clarity Fuel Cell that arrived this week in California.

Whatever Honda does bring, InsideEVs will be attending the show live to report back.

Further details are sparse, but Honda did release this statement earlier:

“Harnessing the power of artificial intelligence, robotics, and big data to transform the mobility experience, Honda today announced that “Cooperative Mobility Ecosystem” will be the theme for its participation at the 2017 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas.”

“Honda will feature interactive and immersive experiences designed to showcase a future technology path toward a redefined mobility experience. From reducing traffic congestion to creating new modes of in-car connectivity, visitors will have an opportunity to explore and demo technologies with the potential to make people’s lives better. The exhibit will include the NeuV, a concept automated EV commuter vehicle equipped with artificial intelligence (AI) called “emotion engine”*1 that creates new possibilities for human interaction and new value for customers.

Continuing its pursuit of open innovation and collaboration, Honda also will announce initiatives with startup companies and global brands that will create a more productive and enjoyable mobility experience.”
