Robert Llewellyn recently had his first opportunity to test an electric scooter in London, and says confidently:

"I'm on a scooter for the first time in my life.  I'm not scared, I feel really confident, and I'm having to..ooh, that's alright, I'm already...this is crazy!"

On the test ride, Robert finds that the Vmoto scooters are a good solution to provide a smooth, quiet commute in jammed cities.

Those scooters sold by Vmoto in Europe are (like most scooters) produced in China, which is the largest market for electric 2 and 3 wheelers of all kinds, beside maybe high-end motorcycles.

Electric scooters already number in the millions in China - but are mostly equipped with lead-acid batteries. In the UK, Vmoto offers lithium-ion powered models.

The base Emax City 80L can go up to 28 miles (45 km) on a 1.44 kWh battery, while the larger Emax V120L is rated at 45-50 miles (72-80 km) on a 2.9 kWh battery.
