The Ferrari 488 GTB is one heck of a machine. Here are some details:

  • MSRP: From $245,400
  •  660 hp
  • Engine: 3.9 L V8
  • MPG: 15 city / 22 highway
  • Curb weight: 3,362 lbs
But even with all that power on tap and a relatively low curb weight, it still can't quite run with the might Tesla Model S P100DL.

And we should note that the top-of-the-line Model S, as raced here, will shortly be getting even quicker (0-60 in 2.4s, another .1 seconds of the 1.4 mile - down to 10.6 seconds) thanks to an upcoming software update that "uncorks the full performance" (Elon Musk's words) of the all-electric car.
