Chevrolet Bolt on the stage at the LA Auto Show...with some new hardware (InsideEVs/Tom Moloughney)
With the start of deliveries of the Chevrolet Bolt EV only a couple weeks away, we knew the 238 mile, all-electric vehicle from GM would have a prominent position among other GM offerings at the Los Angeles Auto Show this week, but a recent "Car of the Year" award win from Motor Trend put it front and center.
Chevrolet Bolt EV: 4 for 4 on early performance promises made from ~3 years ago
Given the Bolt EV's follow-through on all expectations...
*- range - over 200 miles (~28 miles)
*- timing - deliveries by the end of 2016 (~December in select markets)
*- pricing - from under $37,500 (~from $36,620 + $875 DST)
*- performance - 0 to 60 mph in under 7 seconds (~tested at 6.3 seconds by Motor Trend)
...the interest around the plug-in vehicle has never been higher.
And as such, we felt that deserved a live pictorial walk though of the car from the LA Auto Show (with a big thanks to Tom Moloughney for covering the show for us!):
Hard to miss GM confirmed that first deliveries will happen over the next few weeks in 2016

It's a door...not all the pictures have to be sexy right?
Chevrolet Bolt EV taking a place of prominence on the LA Auto Show floor...pretty sure that other gray car in the background is some other kind of plug-in from GM
