Tesla Model 3
In the past several weeks, we have seen Tesla expanding to new markets, as well as Model X arrivals and Supercharger expansion and plans. Electrek recently mentioned possibilities including the Middle East, Eastern Europe, South Korea, and Mexico. However, Taiwan beat out all of these locations.

As of July, Model S orders have officially began in Taiwan. The company plans to open a store with a service center at a later date, but for now, a "pop-up" store is being set up near the nation's capital. The pop-up will be located in Tapei's upscale Xinyi District in the Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Department Store.
The full store is surely a reality since Tesla is already posting job positions for a store manager and multiple others.
Tesla vehicle costs fluctuate throughout the world based on multiple factors including taxes, registration, and import fees. In Taiwan, the online design studio shows that the Model S will cost substantially more in the country than in the U.S.
Tesla Model S (60kWh battery)
3 million New Taiwan Dollar ($92,700 USD)
Tesla Model S P90D
Up to 5 million New Taiwan Dollar ($154,500 USD)
These prices are up to $30,000-$50,000 more than U.S. pricing equivalents, depending on model and options.
