This will serve as the company's first space in Brooklyn. Tesla will use the space for a showroom, service center, and office. The set-up process is already underway and jobs are being posted.

The entire property is 3 stories and 98,650 square feet. It was acquired by LIVWRK from Golten Marine in 2014 for $21.5 million. Leasing cost is quoted at $45 per square foot. There are currently no details as to Tesla's lease terms.

Tesla is also looking for space in Manhattan. ItsĀ current lease expires in July. At this time, no space has been named. The Real Deal states:

"The Palo Alto-based startup, now valued at about $30 billion, is also on the hunt for a new showroom space in Manhattan. The lease for its current showroom at 511 West 25th Street in Chelsea expires in July. Tesla was looking to relocate to 860 Washington Street, but talks broke down."
