2015 Nissan LEAF

Nissan expanded the "No Charge to Charge" program to include the Boston-area.

Boston-area is now  the17th US market where you can buy or lease a new LEAF and for two years charge for free from participating charging networks, through EZ-Charge card.

"The promotion includes access to fast chargers that can charge a LEAF battery pack from empty to 80 percent in about 30 minutes, as well as level 2 (240V) chargers spread throughout the Boston area."

By the end of the year, Nissan hopes to launch "No Charge to Charge" in at least 25 markets. At least 8 more to go this year means one new market every 3 weeks on average.

Hopefully expanding the "No Charge to Charge" will soften the falling sales curve until the new model year LEAF appears.

Andrew Speaker, director, Electric Vehicle (EV) Sales & Marketing, Nissan said:

"Nissan LEAF is an attractive option for Boston car buyers because it is fun to drive and offers significantly lower operating costs when compared to a gas-powered car. EV charging infrastructure continues to grow in Boston, and access to free public charging for new LEAF buyers helps make owning an all-electric vehicle even more cost-effective and convenient."
