France expanded its plug-in electric car market over the summer months of July and August by some 80%, registering a total of 2,550 new all-electric vehicles.
2,016 were passenger cars (82% up year-over-year), with delivery vehicles standing at 534 (-12.6%).
Market share for passenger cars was 0.9% and 0.8% in July/August.
While we still don't have full data (especially for plug-in hybrids), one thing hasn't changed for sure - the Renault ZOE with 1,023 registrations holds over 50% of all passenger BEV sales.
Through eight months, France added 12,613 new BEVs (up 55%).
