Has It Been 2 Years Already? It Seems Like Texas Just Put Their EV Incentive In Place - Now It Is Set To Expire

The rebate is:
- $2500 off a purchase
- $2500 off a 4 year lease

- $1250 off a 2 year lease.
The LDPLI is currently accepting grant applications. Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until June 26, 2015, at 5:00 p.m., or until all funding is awarded, whichever occurs earlier.
Amount of Funds Remaining: $4,918,366
(as of March 23, 2015)
The program started with about $7.7 million in funding, so there is no way they are going to run out of funds before the June 26th, 2015 deadline. It is important to note, you need to purchase the vehicle and get your application in before the deadline to be eligible.
