We are curious why Twizy Renault Sport F1 wasn't on the track
Renault, as one of the main partners of the Formula E Championship, began to use the series for promotion of its electric cars.
Since the Kangoo Z.E. van isn't ideally suited for the track, ZOE and Twizy did the show in the Putrajaya, Malaysia.
From the description of the most recent round of Formula E, we see that some of vehicles were available for test drives. Other road legal electric cars on the paddock were Rimac Concept_One, BMW i3 and i8.
"In the midst of the FIA Formula E Championship sporting programme, which will be held on the same day, Renault will electrify the track before the start of the race.
A show with 4 Renault ZOE and 1 Renault Twizy will demonstrate, thanks to a drivers-stuntmen team, the dynamism and agility qualities of Renault ZOE and Twizy, the flagship models of Renault’s Z.E. range.
Ever committed to bringing the action closer to the public, Renault will also offer spectators the chance to try out these vehicles in the eVillage."
