This matte wrap on the BMW i3 transforms it into something a bit meaner on the outside.

Wrapped in matte frozen gray with red accents, this custom i3 actually improves on the original (at least we think so).

Custom wraps are becoming increasingly popular these days.  The average cost to wrap an entire car ranges from $3,000 to $5,000, so it's not cheap.

The benefits of wrapping are that it preserves the paint underneath and that it's removable and changeable.

The downsides are cost, the inconvenience of dropping your car off for a few days and the chance that you won't be happy with the finished job.

What do you think of this matte-wrapped BMW i3?
