No need to handle the plug all the time while charging
Atlanta finally joined Nissan's “No Charge to Charge” program as the 13th market.
Everybody who bought or leased a LEAF in Atlanta on November 1st or later will get an EZ-Charge access card and two years free charging on participating networks (AeroVironment, Blink, Car Charging Group, Greenlots, JNSH or NRG eVgo) - up to 30 minutes from DC quick chargers and up to one hour from AC charging points per session.
As Atlanta is the biggest market for the Nissan LEAF, now there is a chance for even more sales.
"Atlanta has been the number one LEAF market since mid-2013 due to a variety of factors, including an available Georgia state tax credit, single-occupant access to high occupancy vehicle (HOV) and high occupancy toll (HOT) lanes and a number of major companies who now provide workplace charging for their employees. This along with strong word-of-mouth support from existing LEAF owners to family, friends and co-workers, are the reasons LEAF’s popularity in Atlanta has soared."
"The starting price of a Nissan LEAF is about $17,000** in Georgia after maximum available federal and state tax credits, and LEAF offers the benefits of lower running costs and less scheduled maintenance. Nissan manufactures LEAF and its battery pack less than 250 miles from Atlanta at its plant in Smyrna, Tennessee."
According to Nissan, there are more than a dozen quick chargers spread throughout the Greater Atlanta market.

“Atlanta is America’s biggest market for LEAF, and access to free public charging can enhance the convenience of driving an electric car and motivate additional consumers to make the switch to Nissan LEAF. As the top-selling electric car brand, Nissan is actively working with key partners to ramp up charging infrastructure in Metro Atlanta to make more charging options available for the thousands of area LEAF owners.”
Nissan now offers “No Charge to Charge” in 13 of the top markets for Nissan LEAF sales, and is preparing to launch the program in at least 12 more markets:

- Los Angeles
- San Diego
- Portland, Oregon
- Dallas-Ft. Worth,
- Washington, D.C.
