After Being Challenged By The Facebook CEO To Dump Ice Water On His Head, The Ex-Microsoft Boss Does The Same To Elon Musk
On Wednesday Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg was challenged by Governor Chris Christie to do the "ALS Ice Bucket Challenge" to promote awareness for Lou Gehrig's disease.
Once completed (and very wet), Mark then threw the gauntlet down to Bill Gates, who then further upped the ante by building a ridiculous contraption (naturally) in his acceptance today.
Bill then 'threw down' the challenge (video below) to Chris Anderson from TED, Ryan Seacrest (why?) and Tesla's own CEO, Elon Musk.
We look forward to watching a very cold and wet Tesla CEO shortly. No one says no to Bill.
Just one other thing, there is a time element at play here, so Elon has a scant 24 hours to comply - or forever be known as a chicken...who doesn't support awareness for ALS.
Update: Elon has accepted the mission - via Twitter (of course)
Update 2: You can see the video footage of Elon getting it (x5) via his sons here
