Brutus V2 Rocket

The 2014 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb is already behind us with new EV records.  Now, the first videos from the race are beginning to arrive.

The first is a Brutus V2 Rocket on-board video. Jeremiah Johnson, with a time of 12:20.448, won the Electric Modified Bike class, however we must note that this racing machine was slightly slower than the Zero S motorcycle.

Brutus was equipped with a sound signal, which could wake the dead, so don't say we didn't warn you.

"We finished first in Modified Electric Motorcycle class. The race rules require a sound emitter of 120 db. The siren is the best solution for racing. If the sound annoys you, turn your volume down."

And now something sedating:

"This is the return trip after everyone has raced up the mountain."

As it turns out, Brutus V2 Rocket is available for sale from ~ $26,490:
