2015 Nissan LEAFs Now Available In Canada
June was a record-setting month for at least on plug-in electric vehicle in Canada. Surprisingly, the vehicle that set the record didn't even top the Canadian plug-in electric sales chart last month.
Once again, it was the Chevy Volt that took the #1 spot on the plug-in electric vehicle sales charts in Canada in June. With 163 units sold, the Volt edged out the Nissan LEAF by a decent margin.
For the LEAF, its 104 units sold was an all-time record for a single month in Canada:
"The fully-electric Nissan LEAF set an all-time sales record with 104 units sold."
LEAF sales have only ever exceeded 100 units in a single month twice now in Canada (101 sold in May 2014).
We figure this graphic will shine some perspective on LEAF sales in Canada, in comparison to Nissan sales:

The BMW i3 in its second month sold 28 copies (50 YTD) , while Toyota Prius Plug-In Hybrid sales were just 5 units last month in Canada.
