The question that's on the minds of nobody has been asked:

"Will there be a Cadillac ELR-V?  There is magnetic ride control on the Chevy Corvette, Cadillac CTS and the new Chevy pickups. Why not the Cadillac ELR and will it happen?"

Driving the Nation put forth that question to  Mark Reuss, General Motor's Executive VP of Global Product Development, Purchasing & Supply Chain.

His response?

"Great question.  Can't really answer that."

In actuality, the question was not well thought out, as magnetic ride control is an electron chugger, which would not be suitable for a vehicle like the Cadillac ELR.

However, Reuss does hint at "expanding the tuning envelope" for the ELR, though we doubt this will happen as the ELR is a limited production vehicle, but we'll see.
