An official brochure sent to U.S. dealerships gives an overview of the upcoming BMW i8, its ordering process and competitive landscape. In this marketing material, BMW states that the i8 is the leader in order simplicity with most of the equipment being standard and no packages.

The brochure also mentions the Audi R8 and Porsche 911 4S as competitors at a higher price point.
