Lately, Renault has been putting out a fair amount of Zoe videos, which indicates to us that perhaps the French automaker is now getting serious in regards to selling what some consider the best cheap EV in the world.
This video focuses on the Zoe's unique charge-anywhere ability.
The Renault Zoe comes with the patented Chameleon charger, which puts to shame all of the other chargers out there.
As Renault states:
"With its simple and fast charging process, the all electric super mini Renault Zoe is one of the best electric cars on the market."
"Connecting to a rapid charge unit means you can charge the car to 80% capacity in just 30 minutes. Now that is fast!"
That Chameleon charger can fill the Zoe in as little as 30 minutes or up to 9 hours depending on the energy source. It's all done with one plug and one port.
The US will never see the Zoe, but it's perhaps the small, cheap EV we'd all love.
It scored 5 stars in Euro NCAP crash tests.
It's cheaper than the LEAF, though battery rental is separate in Europe.
And last but not least, the Zoe is more stylish than the LEAF.
Perhaps it would be wise for Nissan to rebrand the Zoe under its name to sell it here in the US.
