Plug’n Drive, a non-profit organization, is trying hard to pump up the number of electric vehicles on the road in Ontario, Canada.
Almost weekly, Plug'n Drive hosts an electric vehicle roadshow somewhere within Ontario. The idea is to get plug-ins out there for the general public to see and drive.
It may be working.
In 2010, Ontario counted less than 100 plug-in vehicles on its roads. Today, that number stands at more than 1,400 and growing.
Sure, electric vehicles aren't a success yet in the whole of Canada, but in Ontario they are catching on.
In 2010, there were fewer than 100 electric vehicles on the road. Today, there are more than 1,400 electric vehicles on the road in Ontario.
That's progress. And as we see it, slow-but-steady progress is key for EVs.
