Croatian company Rimac Automobili, which up until now seemed to be solely focused on the launch of the production version of stunning Concept_One model, announced it will extend its portfolio of components for electric vehicles and services for virtually all stages of design. What this means is that all other automakers will be able to utilize Rimac's own proprietary components in future electric vehicles.
At this time it's unknown if this decision by Rimac is to any degree related to delays in marketing and launching the Concept_One.
Up until now, the only other vehicle to use Rimac's components was the demonstration-only Volar-e. That may change soon though as all automakers will get a chance to be Rimac-powered, so to say.

The startup Croatian company, Rimac, now offers motors, transmissions, battery systems, power distribution and management systems, infotainment systems, low voltage electric systems and auxiliary systems. In other words, Rimac's whole suite of wares are available to all.
Rimac Automobili’s CTO, Igor Pongrac explains that:

The high level of integration makes these systems the ideal choice for high-performance applications. Every component is matched perfectly to the entire system which results in the most power-dense systems on the market."

Coolest of these components are, of course, Concept_One powertrains that, in terms of performance, are comparable with internal combustion engines in Formula 1 racers.
Both D-PM-OC-600 and D-PM-OC-500 consist of two independent, 10-pole synchronous motors with permanent magnets integrated in one housing and liquid-cooled. The bigger and stronger D-PM-OC-600 reaches maximum power of 654 kW at 8,500 rpm and 848 Nm (625 ft lbs) of maximum torque available from 0 to 7400 rpm.

With a weight of just 254 lbs, it cranks almost 2.6 kW/lbs. Even after taking into account the two gears, this value is very high - more than 1.86 kW/lbs. That's far more than the latest Brusa model.
The motors maximum speed is 10,600 rpm and the efficiency reaches as high as 94.9%. Each motor can be linked to the wheels by dedicated reduction gears with a gear ratio range of 3.5:1 to 4,16:1. That means you can get over 3,400 Nm (2,500 ft lbs) of torque per axis at up to 7400 rpm! Interestingly, the Croatian company is currently working on two-speed version, too.
