Mitsubishi has just put out a couple new videos on its MiEV lineup; both real and imagined.  One features the current i-MiEV which is now on sale around the world (video below), and second is the company's brand new CA-MiEV concept that debuted this week in Geneva (above).

As a refresher, the new CA-MiEV features:

  • 300 km (185 mile) range on the Japanese JC-08 standard, about 110 on the US EPA system
  • 80 kW (107 hp) electric motor
  • 28 kWh lithium battery
  • wireless inductive charging at rear
  • aerodynamic efficiency of .26 cd
  • dimensions: 160" l, 70" w and 61" h
  • seats 5
As opposed to the current i-MiEV:
  • 160 km (99miles) range on the Japanese JC-08 standard, 62 miles on US EPA system
  • 47 kW (63 hp) electric motor
  • 16 kWh lithium battery
  • 110V charging (14 hours), 220V charging (8 hours), and Quick Charge (30 mins-80%)
  • aerodynamic efficiency of .35 cd
  • dimensions: 145" l, 62" wide and 63" h
  • seats 4
