In the post TMZ world we live in, celebrities are hounded worse than ever. Last Friday, teen  heart throb, and personal favorite, Justin Bieber, was pulled over on the 101 Freeway just outside Los Angeles, California for driving in excess of 100 miles per hour trying to flee photo-snapping savages in a chromed out Fisker Karma.

According to TMZ, who claims they were not the ones who were chancing Justin Bieber, the artist was flying down the freeway because he was being chased by at least four paparazzi. Bieber told the California Highway Patrol that they were chasing him at high speeds creating an unsafe environment for him and others on the road.

Witnessing the incident, L.A. City Councilman Dennis Zine, a former LAPD officer for 18 years, commented to TMZ saying "Bieber was driving like a maniac. He was weaving in and out of traffic. There was hardley any space between cars as he weaved from lane to lane." However, he did add that the paparazzi were incredibly irresponsible and was driving on the shoulder on the freeway at a high rate of speed.

Although Bieber was in the wrong for driving so fast, he was the one who contacted the police first, according to law enforcement sources. Currently, the California Highway Patrol is investigating the paparazzi for creating this extreme situation.
