A gorgeous black P90D with black wheels makes for a pretty stunning appearance.

It’s not a typical SUV, and the review is full of many positives as one might expect. MotorWeek does note some small disadvantages, such as the seats (non-folding 2nd row and noisy).

“Join us for a shocking new take on the family SUV with the Tesla Model X!”

Motorweek always gives a good review.

Every time I listen to a review by this guy, I feel like I’m being yelled at the whole time.

That being said, I think it was a pretty honest review.

When you’re behind the wheel it may run like a Cheetah,,,,,,,,,but from the outside and parked, it LOOKS like a lumbering Elephant !

name any SUV that doesn’t look like an elephant. Seriously, try it. Porsche Cayenne? BMW X5? Face it, SUVs look chunky. THAT’S WHY THEY ARE SUVS!

There are chunky ugly and chunky masculine…

Model X is on the ugly side in my opinion.

Model S is very good looking.

I find BMW X5, Volvo XC90 good looking for a SUV.

Seemed fair. The frunk is bigger than i remember. Nice.

The MotorWeek reviewer said: “. . . on the highway you can pretty much sit back and relax, letting Auto Pilot do most of the driving for you.”

With Autopilot in the news lately, @4:08 in the video that was an ironic demonstration of using Autopilot on an undivided two-lane road with no shoulder and no hands on the steering wheel. The driver has to grab the steering wheel when the Model X begins to veer into oncoming traffic. It even looks like the notification for the restriction to 5 mph over of speed limit came on in the dash board. Face palm.

Was the driver wearing a baseball cap and sunglasses due to heat or glare issues, since there was no sunshade on the jumbo-sized windshield? The driver doesn’t wear a baseball cap and sunglasses in any of the other MotorWeek videos that I checked on their YouTube channel.

Maybe that particular driver was a Vampire?

Sheesh! Give it a rest already! You have to be getting paid for this.?

Man, this great vehicle makes me cringe every time I see those Falcon doors. And I still hate the auto front doors and non folding 2nd row.

Such a waste.

Then look at the Model S

Complain about “bad seat” again?

“adequate for commute”?

“Drift off to Dream Land”. Lane keeping can take you almost anywhere! Model X can add me to the 60kWh owners list when the lease returns are up for bid on the auction block in 2020! Dreaming, between the painted stripes, until then!
