Ludicrous Tesla Model S P90D Versus Ford GT – Drag Race Video

Race Time!

Race Time!

DragTimes may have had its Tesla Model S P90D with Ludicrous mode for just a few days now, but this is already the third video (Thanksgiving Day reaction video and delivery video) showcasing the DragTimes P90D and the first featuring it in a real race with one of the U.S.’ most formidable supercars.

Video description:

“Tesla’s latest and quickest car, the Model S P90D with Ludicrous mode takes on the Ford GT, America’s iconic exotic Muscle Car with over 700 horsepower. This Ford GT’s best 1/4 mile to date was done at Palm Beach International Raceway running 10.6 @ 133 MPH.”

Based on engine sound, the standing start seem to be botched run by Ford GT. Why does he stumble so many times? Is the transmission on Ford that bad?

It’s obvious the Ford GT driver doesn’t know his car or doesn’t know how to drive it. The car is fighting for traction in the 1-2 and the 2-3 shifts. AWD FTW.

Well this is the problem of ICE car!
Something you don’t have to deal with electric drive.
So just be it!
The battle is over, even if some soldier want to keep on, they will be beat inevitably.

The poor GT. Sounds like it was killing itself trying to catch up to the Tesla.

The GT driver sure was trying his damnedest to keep up. AWD, instant torque, and a driver who didn’t know his car well all were against him. Maybe the GT against an i8 would be a better fight?

The struggle of the engine!

The sound of shifting gears fades away into the past as the Tesla accelerates into the future

Give me the Tesla over the Ford any day.

The mighty 700 horsepower Ford GT loses to an electric sedan.

It’s becoming impossible to justify the continued production of gas car has-beens.

I am an electric car (van actually) owner and fan. I’m not trying to be cute when I say I genuinely feel badly for the Ford. The ICE has been with us our whole lives. Most of us take pride, sometimes secret, in the muscle car era.

Conversely, it’s pathetic to hear and watch a new “hot car” sputtering and jerking its way through traffic, while all the other cars are getting the same forward motion results with none of the silly dramatics.

Same as the race with the Challenger SRT Hellcat. Get someone that can drive an ICE car.
Both drivers suck!

Took the GT nineteen seconds to play catchup… wow! PWNED
