The special limited edition Nissan LEAFs, available in four new colors for the Nissan’s 80th Anniversary, just went on sale in Japan.

The LEAF is not the only model to receive the new color set.  The same colors are now available for the Nissan CUBE.

From the left we have: Premium Orange Sun, Premium Deep Maroon (traditional color adopted from 240ZG), Aurora Flare Blue Pearl and Brilliant White Pearl.

Some of those colors change slightly depending on the condition of the light and the angle of view.

In the limited edition package there are brown electric retractable door mirrors and bronze 16-inches wheel covers.

The price seems to be slightly higher then standard X-grade LEAFs after the most recent small price cut, or approximately $28,000-$29,000 (including incentives).

How about producing limited quantity of 400 km version Leaf and then sell those for the highest bidders?
