Kia Soul EV is setting a decent pace in entering new markets in Europe.

The latest stop is the UK, where the first electric Kia went on sale from £24,995, including the £5,000 Plug-In grant.

For comparison, the Nissan LEAF starts from £21,490 (however there are cheaper versions without the battery pack included).

With a 6.6 kW on-board charger, DC CHAdeMO inlet and heat pump system among its standard equipment, the Soul EV is certainly competitively priced.  It boast more range than the LEAF too.

With the Brits’ extensive ChaDeMo network and general lack of care for aesthetics, this can be a real hit there 🙂

great comment. lol!

You should try a visit for a holiday.
You might get lucky, it sounds! 🙂

Did any of these sell in the US last month?
How many?

Should probably do well in the UK, or at least in London, where 0-60 doesn’t matter because you’re lucky if you’re doing 20mph… I reckon the US will skip the Kia Slou, at least in the CARB states that it’s offered in…

In the specs it says engine start/stop–always a handy feature in your EV.
