Formula E Long Beach: Photos Galore

APR 6 2015 BY ERIC LOVEDAY 1

Several friends of InsideEVs, and even some occasional contributors, attended the free Long Beach race over the weekend.

With cameras at the ready, the photos were snapped and the images starting pouring in.  Our collection of live, on-scene-shots now number near 1,000, so we figured we’d share some with our readers.

Word from the event was that it was lively, very entertaining and definitely worthy of attending.

Enjoy these images, courtesy of George Betak (InsideEVs contributor) and Solange Fernandez.

If there’s a specific shot you’re looking for, perhaps of a certain race car or booth at the show, don’t hesitate to ask us in Comments if we’ve got the shot.  We’ll search through our thousand images to see if our lenses captured what you’re eager to see.

The hype and buildup to the Long Beach race was good – and the first half of the race proved to be the best dueling and racing so far. Portions of the track, namely straight stretches, were twice the width of tracks in previous venues which lead to great passing opportunities and action. Then, the second half happened.
