A fitting, high-profile end to a very successful maiden season, to be sure! The cars were too quiet, maybe bit slow — and the awkward pit exchange for a fresh car needs to be reworked. But there was excitement, competitive racing and good coverage.

Next season is more open to separate teams developing their own technology. It can only improve the breed. What a fantastic test bed for battery tech as racing pushes things to the limits.

It was fun and only a tad bit frustrating watching this initial season of Formula E. Next year will be better. The venues have been amazing. The outgoing message is always the same one Tesla invented – That EVs are not only good, like eating your vegetables…They are fast and exciting too!
