ForEVerLEAF: Two LEAF Owners Meet, Get Married At Event – video

JUN 29 2016 BY MARK KANE 17

Apparently electric cars brings people together, and not just to show support for the technology.

A couple from Japan met at aย Nissan LEAF owners events, and after “realizing compatibility” (mmm, the language of love…compatibility) they were married.

Well, whatever works we supposed.

Yep. Because if one of them drove a PHEV they would have irreconcilable differences.

The marriage may have limited range ๐Ÿ™‚

Your mileage may vary.

I think as long as they plug-in at night, they will be fine.

+1 ๐Ÿ™‚

Huh? OH!!! ๐Ÿ˜€

And Fox News claim that it will cause a divorce if one of them forgets to plug the car in…

Time to invest in that wireless charging system to prevent such a tragedy!

Now one of them is going to complain that the car wasn’t parked perfectly over the charging plate so it didn’t charge as fast…

Then the conversation will degrade into a fight about who is a better driver, divorce soon follows…

What till they move in together and realize there’s only one EVSE. Then we’ll see how long things last….

Marriage will be fine , He’ll just give her some induction charging ….l o l…

If Toyota Mirai owners suddenly get together and start breeding, I’m going to be very very unhappy.

It seems there are lots of female Leaf drivers. I’m frequently flanked by female Leaf drivers at DCFC. But I only know one female SparkEV driver: Science communicator, Cara Santa Maria of “Skeptics guide to the universe” fame.

Trade those two Leaf’s in for a Tesla.

Let the electricity flow.

Unfortunately, you’d probably have to trade in 4 Leafs to afford a Tesla.

What an electrifying idea! An EV Owners Dating Club! Talk about ‘Hooking up’ and ‘Getting Plugged In’ together!

That is a great slogan.

However as a PHEV driver it’s also a gas gas with unlimited range!
