The Fast Lane Car Presents More Thant Everything You Ever Wanted To Know About The Kia Soul EV

“More than everything you ever wanted to know.”

That’s the name of this video feature put out by The Fast Lane Car.

“The 2015 KIA Soul EV is an all electric car that will initially only be sold in California. In another new TFLcar video, here’s more than everything you ever wanted to know about the 2015 KIA Soul all electric car.”

Uniquely, The Fast Lane Car takes us to the stage of the Soul EV launch event in the opening of this video segment, so we get the hear Kia discuss its first mass-produced EV.

During the Kia discussion, there’s some brief drive footage, followed by more detailed info on the Soul EV straight from Kia’s manager for long-range strategy, Steve Kosowski.

You’ll surely enjoy this one from The Fast Lane Car.

Going to test drive next week (Canada), looks like a great daily driver, better than the Leaf in many ways, most importantly range.

Looks like KIA can show GM how it’s to be done! Longest range, short of getting a Tesla!

Yet, we are still looking for a EV Value that beets the EV1 with NiMH batteries and got 140 miles range! 10 years ago!

David Murray

I’d like to see the EV-1’s range rating if rated under the current EPA guidelines.

Rick Danger

Or maybe, the Kia could be tested the way the EV1-NiMH was to compare range.

Mike

Whatever the range, it’s only available in California.
Time to get this available across the USA.

That’s funny, this place doesn’t *feel* like California. It feels remarkably colder and wetter. And yet, the Kia Soul EV is being sold right here:

Car would sell well if only they sold it in all markets.
