Faraday Future Electric Concept Car Teased

Leading up to its big reveal at CES 2016 in just 4 days, Faraday Future released this way-too-brief teaser video (YouTube version below) that actually shows part of its electric concept car for the first time ever.

As Faraday states on its Facebook page:

Our concept is set to reveal in 5 days at ‪#‎CES2016‬. Watch live at 8pm PST on Jan 4: http://bit.ly/1Pxe6DX ‪#‎CarOfConcepts‬

We’ll be at CES bringing you coverage from the Faraday event (as well as other plug-in car reveals), so keep an eye on these pages for more information as it becomes available.

Man I hope this EV will be incredible and not a niche vaporware car mass produced in 2020.

So a track car? Anyway where is the Rimac? Thought they had an interesting and fully functional concept..

The right front body panel at least looks rather curvy and bold … I’m really looking forward to that reveal.

And “Faraday”? C’mon… Tesla already took the “name the company after famous electric pioneer” idea. Be original.

Edison? Taken..
Bell? Taken
Einstein? Taken

Tesla was not the first by any stretch.

I should have been more specific…

Tesla already took the “name your electric vehicle manufacturing company after famous electric pioneer” idea.

Chevy Volt named after Alessandro Volta?
Opel Amepera named after Andre-Marie Ampere?

Come on. It’s all over the place if you look for it.

I don’t think Volt and Amepera (the car names) are named so much DIRECTLY after each person, but simply because these are common electrical terms.

Naming your entire electric car company something just comes off as a “wannabe” Tesla.

…something like “Faraday”… I meant.

Edison and Bell named their companies after themselves.

Carbon fiber is the bacon of the automotive world.
