500 New Energy Buses will be delivered to Thailand, but these aren’t from BYD.

The significant order was recieved by lucky Chinese company BONLUCK, with an end-of-this-year deadline.

New Energy Buses is an extensive category, so we don’t exactly know whether they will be all-electric or some kind of plug-in hybrids.

As BONLUCK has some NEV models listed on the website we believe that Thailand really could switch to electric.

These are all gas buses. It’s better than diesel or petrol but it would have been nice if they were all electric.

Nice and cleaner. Burning fossil fuels is slowly killing all the living on this small planet. It is urgent we stop this madness.

A Chinese made bus according to the press release and invitation I got and my call to the PR rep for this unveiling. Unfortunately I did not attend to better understand how this remarkable distance was achieved with an electric coach bus. Nevertheless it did get the Australian Minister for the Environment attending.
