Check Out This Tesla Model 3 In Germany

MAR 16 2018 BY ERIC LOVEDAY 13

A Tesla Model 3 in Germany? Yes. And it just so happens to be driving around In the backyard of Mercedes-Benz.

Spotted on the roads of Sindelfingen (home to a Mercedes-Benz assembly plant), we can fairly safely assume this Model 3 was purchased by Mercedes in order to evaluate it and then do a full teardown.

Competitive vehicle analysis is not new. And it’s not only Teslas that are being torn into. This is common with any new vehicle that hits the market.

A few months back, a white Tesla Model 3 was spotted in Germany, but that was near BMW’s facility in Munich.

What we’d like to know is how much did it cost for Mercedes to acquire this electric car?

Another Euro point of view

I live 400 km away but can still hear the laughing (are they measuring the panel gaps ?)

ottoix

I think they do some testing with the brakes, to see how you can save money on the brake pads.

SansIce

I live farther away than that, and I am laughing at your trolling – get a life.

George Goerge

They may still be laughing, but what has Mercedes got so far? Nothing, zero, zilch, BUGGER ALL.

Wildly exaggerated claims about panel gaps on the Tesla Model 3 have become so commonplace from Tesla bashers that it ought to appear in online Meme Generators!

I live 40,000km away and we are still laughing at how the German luxury OEMs still can’t compete with the Tesla technology from 6 years ago Euro troll POV.

You live in space? Cool! Wait, are you by any chance driving a Midnight Cherry Red Tesla Roadster?

Gerhard Hauer

That car is 10,909,00 kilometers away.

40,000 km ? I guess you meant to say 20,000 km…

wavelet

You are aware that 40K km (*) is the earth’s circumference, so basically in the same place?

(*) Used to be defined that way, now under SI it’s 40075km.

Asak

Maybe he lives next door to the Mercedes plant.
