The Chinese manufacturer unveiled the all-electric E-SEED concept, which surprises us with a promise of more than 600 km (370 miles) of range.

BYD E-SEED brings new design language too, with a double-blade front.

The car is equipped with an all-wheel drive powertrain and does 0-100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.9 seconds.

BYD knows that there is no other way than developing and introducing new, better models as competition becomes fierce.

This is why there were several new models on the display.

More range is good but…

Front grill is way too small… it only covers the entire front… should extend across the hood to the windshield then across the roof to the rear… don’t mess around… go all the way.

At least with the E-SEED they are moving toward creating a design language that doesn’t use a vestigial grill. Porsche and Tesla are on board as well. Hopefully the other EV manufacturers will get the hint.

Why do we never see US journalist reviews of these Chinese EVs?

Are they available outside China?

I am quite sure US journalists are available outside China.

For a price, a paid trip and accommodations, US car magazines will review anything. For a larger sum, they will even give it a positive review.

Bring them to the US!!!!

Finally a Tesla killer. I will buy one in 2030 when BYD starts selling them in USA.

Tesla killers

Bad at math, but how much bigger diameter tires/wheels must I use to get a 20% increase in distance? And What might I be burning out?
