Brabus Mods Tesla Model S – (w/ 4K Video)

Legendary tuner Brabus (of Mercedes-Benz and Smart fame) has unveiled a comprehensive set of modifications for the Tesla Model S.

Most of the tweaks deal only with exterior and interior enhancements at this point in time, but Brabus says that itsĀ “customization program will be expanded continuously.”

Car Scoops describes the Brabus mods as follows:

“For the outside, there’s an aerodynamic kit made out of carbon fiber permanently sealed with a high-gloss or a matte protective coating, which includes attachments for the side air-intakes, a front spoiler lip, a rear diffuser and a discreet boot lid spoiler.

The Model S now rides on 21-inch rims shod in Pirelli or Yokohama rubber size 255/35 R 21 at the front and 265/35 R 21 on the rear axle.”

On the inside is where the modifications are most noticeable:

“Inside, the customization program adds stainless-steel scuff plates with backlit BRABUS logo that changes color from white to blue, a redone lower center console with new storage options, heated and cooler cup holders, plus a wireless smartphone charger. There are plenty of different options for the upholstery, with the display model combining black leather and Alcantara surfaces with blue stitching.”

All Brabus modifications are done on an order-by-order basis, with pricing dependent on which options you chose.

I love Tesla Just the way it is…………

Germany is getting deeper into being negatively branded, than they understand. Perhaps this summarizes the typical attitude, at Frankfurt.

The Tesla door panels could be a little more luxurious in this class of mid luxury cars.

I *hate* overly large brake intakes on front lower fascia.

Yeah. Definitely looks like a triumph of style over functionality there.

On the other hand, it’s nice to see a Model S with real cupholders for the back seat!

The ‘Executive” rear seats from Tesla, have the same layout / cupholders.

Well at least they didn’t make it worse but otherwise… meh!
