Mexico City and Mexico State which surrounds Mexico City on three sides bans the use of your gasoline powered car one weekday per week depending on your license plate number.

Hybrids and BEVs are exempt.

So for some Mexicans you cab replace two gasoline powered cars with one BEV.

Let’s hope that they make it more days of the week free from cars so that they will have to buy more BEV’s.
Both for the global environment but even more so for the people living there and their local environment.

I just read starting this year gasoline cars older than 15 years can’t drive on Saturdays in addition to the one weekday ban.

Hybrids older than 15 years are also banned from driving on Saturdays.
