Audi A3 E-Tron Gets 5-Star Euro NCAP Safety Rating
Euro NCAP completed its latest round of safety testing. The Audi A3 Sportback e-tron was among the tested vehicles.
Overall, the A3 e-tron scored 5 stars (out of a total of 5 stars) in Euro NCAP testing.

Video 1: Frontal Impact takes place at 64 Km/h, 40% of the width of the car striking a deformable barrier. In the side impact, a mobile deformable barrier impacts the driver’s door at 50 km/h. In the pole test, the car tested is propelled sideways at 29km/h into a rigid pole.
Video 2: For AEB Inter-Urban systems, Euro NCAP evaluates the automatic brake function and the forward collision warning function in 3 different driving scenarios: Driving towards a stationary vehicle (30-80km/h); closing in at a slower vehicle in front (30-80km/h) and following a car in front which suddenly starts braking (50km/h, gentle and harsh braking).
