Photos/Video From Kia Soul EV Production
Recently, Kia proudly announced that for the very first time it began series production of an electric vehicle for export.
Kia’s first model to be marketed outside of South Korea is the 2015 Soul EV, which in some way is the second generation of Kia EVs, because the first was the Kia Ray EV (available on a limited scale only in Korea).
Soul EVs designated for Europe and U.S. should land somewhere in second half of the year, but don’t expect too much as annual output is planned to reach just 5,000 units.
Here are a bunch of photos from the production line and an interesting video from the process inside Kia’s Gwangju facility in Korea.
