Tesla Model S P85D earned the top overall score in the 2015 AAA Green Car Guide among 88 tested green vehicles.

The fifth annual AAA guide reviews electric vehicles, compressed natural gas-powered (CNG) vehicles, clean diesels, hybrids, partial zero emission vehicles (PZEVs), and vehicles with high fuel economy.

“These vehicles were tested and scored by the Automobile Club of Southern California’s Automotive Research Center (ARC) in 13 categories (braking, fuel economy, emissions, handling, ride comfort, etc.). The report also contains comprehensive information about green technologies from the ARC evaluators.”

In the “Best Value: Cost-Per-Point Scores” category the winner was the 2014 Nissan Versa SV, while in the “Green Car Guide” category, beside Tesla (best large car), we find the Volkswagen e-Golf SEL (compact car) and BMW i3 (subcompact car) tops in their segments.

The trophy case at Tesla Motors must be quite crowded by now.

The gigafactory is actually just a large trophy case for them. They have fooled everyone!!

“Only” – 67 – little thophy icons…

Yep, they have more awards than Carter has pills.

Notice how every time someone wants to talk about how “green” a car is they put a bicycle in the picture?

I’ve gone 316 miles in the last week, using 3.2 kWh of electricity.

It saddens me that we can look right past simple solutions to our health, pollution, and energy problems, because they involve social rather than technological changes.
