Thanks, as a Canadian, I appreciate this.

And as earthlings, we appreciate Canadians buying EVs! Especially when they run on renewable electrons, such as y’alls abundant hydropower!

With that 14000? thousand dollars little bonus over Quebec,Ontario is catching up quick ?

Doesn’t surprise me the Chevy Volt has leadership in Canada.

Well if Tesla would start shipping some 3’s up here the numbers would go up exponentially. They have had my 1 thousand $ for 3 years now!

So you reserved your Model 3 in February 2015?
This is more than a year earlier than most others…

And the Bolt EV production has been mainly for the USA. Wait until the Bolt is finally available nationwide in Canada- their sales will accelerate – and the same for the very nice VW e-Golf when it too is finally allowed to be sold nationwide.

Hyundai IONIQ – 890
So all the Ioniq’s were shipped to Canada instead of USA. Anyway as long as they sell a lot, its good.

Nice to see the Canadian’s setting record and BEV is outselling PEV shows that people prefer pure Electrics as well.

Over 17000 worldwide in 2017

The Hyundai Ionic EV could have moved at least 3 times as many EVs worldwide, if they could have upped the total production numbers. The Ionic EV is a a runaway hit just about EVrywhere!

Quebec will obliterate Ontario’s 14,000 incentive advantage to only 18,000 in 2018. Ontario can’t sell what manufacturers don’t allocate to Ontario. Manufacturers must prioritize BEV and PHEV allocations to Quebec for Quebec ZEV law since Jan 2018. You already see clear signs of this with Toyota exclusive Prime and Mirai in Quebec.

I could imagine if the California government gave a $14 grand cheque to all ev purchases. That’s Ontario.i can’t wait till I get my $14 grand. So far,I am waiting for a ev with no leather interior.

Not sure what you can afford, but Tesla offers vegan interiors.

Yes,I knew that. I should have made it more clear. I was mocking other car companies like Nissan and Hyundai. They have leather interiors in their ev. My bad.

Kia Soul … it’s fake leather made from renewable materials. Looks pretty decent and works well, so far.

Just for the information of our American friends; Canada, as a whole has about the same population as California, but with the climate of your northern states as most of our citizens live in the southern 150 miles of our country.?

Looking at the numbers, one thing is for sure. Money talks in Ontario … let’s be honest about that … it’s not a sudden realization that BEV’s are better.
