General Motors’ 74th Recall This Year Includes The Chevy Spark EV

General Motors has now issued 75 recalls in 2014 alone.

Recall #74 includes the electric version of the Chevrolet Spark.

Though not noted above or below, the model years for the affected Spark EVs are 2014 and 2015.

Here’s the recall notice:

Officially, this is a full-on stop-sale for the Spark EV:

And here’s the only place where we see General Motors mention that the electric Spark is included (note: clearly there’s a typo below, as GM didn’t intend to list the 2014 Spark EV twice.  Text should state 2014 Spark EV & 2015 Spark EV):

    Mmmm, quality. 😉

Yeah, I mean, a corroded hood latch from a GM is much worse than missing power when passing from a “quality” vehicle like the i3 ReX or an exploding airbag that could cut your throat in a Honda right!

Speaking of sudden power loss… Don’t forget GM’s “Iginitiongate”, where they knowingly hid safety defects from consumers & the government, that killed many people over a decade…

        That’s some quality.
